Qualifications

This role drives financial performance and informed decision-making by leading planning, forecasting, analysis, and executive-level reporting across the assigned business area. This position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations that advance business objectives. Success in this role requires deep financial expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.## **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Own and lead the assigned business area’s planning, forecasting, and performance management drumbeat, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial outlooks that support strategic and operational decision‐making through variance analysis, scenario modeling, and risk/opportunity assessment.* Lead the end-to-end financial planning cycle—including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and ongoing performance monitoring—ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and proactively identifying* gaps, drivers, and corrective actions.* Prepare and present clear, compelling financial reporting and executive‐level presentations for senior leadership, translating complex financial results into actionable insights and recommendations.* Provide ad hoc and special‐project financial support to enable informed decision‐making across the organization.* Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and reporting, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and scalability.* Build and maintain trusted finance partnerships with senior business leaders, serving as a strategic advisor who influences key decisions and connects financial insights to business outcomes.* Maintain deep professional and technical expertise by staying current on financial best practices, tools, and industry trends.* Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.* Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.## ## **Supervision Exercised*** Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members* Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies* Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal* communications* Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.## ## **Minimum Qualifications****Education/Certifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.* Experience:* 10+ years of experience in financial analysis,* 3+ years of experience in managing a team## ## **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*** Experience preparing executive-level and senior leadership presentations is highly desirable.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.* Demonstrated ability to develop and apply financial and business frameworks to identify opportunities, evaluate trade‐offs, and drive value‐added initiatives.* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams## **Other:****Preferred Qualifications****Education/Certifications:*** MBA or CPA preferred, but not required.**Experience:*** Experience presenting to business leaders preferably in a finance business partner or FP&A capacity supporting corporate or commercial/product business units* Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insights that drive business decisions.* Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.#LI-MM1#LI- Hybrid – Oak Brook, IL The pay range for this position is $129,700.00 - $209,200.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
