  • Lead end-to-end execution of logistics network transitions, including 3PL launches, warehouse consolidations, facility relocations, space reallocations, and distribution network redesigns.
  • Coordinate site cutovers, implementation activities, go/no-go reviews, and post-transition stabilization efforts.
  • Ensure all operational, labor, facility, equipment, and transportation requirements are identified and addressed prior to implementation.
  • Drive execution excellence across all network transition initiatives while maintaining service continuity.
Operational Readiness & Site Validation
  • Conduct comprehensive site readiness assessments for facilities undergoing transition.
  • Validate warehouse layouts, space utilization, dock flow, staging capacity, labor requirements, material handling equipment, and safety compliance.
  • Assess operational feasibility and provide readiness recommendations for executive decision-making.
  • Identify operational constraints and develop mitigation strategies to reduce implementation risk.
Cross-Functional Integration & Collaboration
  • Coordinate integration activities across Supply Chain, Transportation, Distribution Operations, Procurement, Real Estate, Finance, and Business Units.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between operational stakeholders and project governance teams.
  • Partner with PMO leadership to ensure alignment between project plans and operational execution requirements.
  • Support broker evaluations, facility assessments, and vendor selection activities from an operational perspective.
Strategic Network Transformation
  • Support enterprise network optimization initiatives and long-range supply chain transformation strategies.
  • Drive implementation of network solutions that improve service, capacity utilization, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Participate in M&A integration planning and execution activities.
  • Develop and maintain transition playbooks, best practices, and operational standards to support future network changes.
Program Governance & Performance Management
  • Track and report progress of strategic initiatives, transition milestones, and operational readiness metrics.
  • Maintain visibility into contract obligations, service level requirements, and execution dependencies.
  • Ensure workflow compliance and timely delivery of analytics and operational support.
  • Document lessons learned and institutional knowledge to improve future transition execution.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify operational, safety, labor, and capacity risks associated with network transitions.
  • Escalate critical risks and decision points through established governance channels.
  • Develop contingency plans to ensure successful transition outcomes.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, network transitions, or project management.
  • Proven experience leading complex logistics implementations, warehouse transitions, or distribution network changes.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience supporting M&A integration activities.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Blue Yonder applications.
  • Experience with Tableau and business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and contract operations.
Success Metrics
  • ≥95% “first-time-right” transition execution.
  • Zero significant operational disruptions resulting from readiness gaps.
  • Positive site readiness and stakeholder feedback scores.
  • 100% visibility to transition-related contracts and commitments.
  • Spend reporting completeness of ≥98%.
  • 100% workflow routing and governance compliance.
  • Timely delivery of operational analytics and project support requests.
  • Successful stabilization of transitioned operations within defined implementation timelines.
