Job summary

Apple Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Environment and Supply Chain Innovation metrics team. You will guide LCA analyses, partner with engineering and operations, and influence policy and project priorities.

The role blends data-driven environmental modeling with strategic storytelling for senior stakeholders, directing a team of experienced professionals to reduce environmental impacts across products and supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of experience in environmental sustainability, LCA, environmental modeling, or related quantitative discipline
• 5+ years of direct people management experience leading technical teams
• Experience translating technical analyses into concise presentations for senior audiences
• Experience leading multiple concurrent technical projects with changing priorities
• Experience partnering across engineering, operations, design, or procurement

Responsibilities

• Define strategic team goals and priorities with input from senior leaders and direct reports
• Develop longer-term roadmaps and promote projects to grow knowledge capital
• Prioritize asks to deliver high-impact analyses in a timely manner
• Oversee the growth and development of a team of LCA professionals
• Develop data analytics and data visualization capabilities within the team
• Collaborate with Product Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, Compliance, Legal
• Present succinct summaries to senior executives with clear requests
