Job summary

Apple Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Senior Manager, Environment and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) – Metrics and Analytics to lead a team of LCA professionals.

You will drive data-driven analyses of environmental impacts, influence strategic decisions, and partner with engineering, operations, and marketing to reduce product and supply chain footprints. In this role you’ll define goals, build roadmaps, and present succinct executive summaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• 10+ years in environmental sustainability, LCA, environmental modeling, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience translating analyses into concise presentations for senior audiences.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent technical projects with changing priorities.
• Experience partnering across engineering, operations, design, or procurement.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic team goals and priorities with input from senior leaders and direct reports.
• Develop longer-term roadmaps to prepare for future needs and growth.
• Prioritize asks to deliver high-impact analyses in a timely manner.
• Oversee the growth and development of a team of LCA professionals.
• Develop data analytics and visualization tools to improve communication of analyses.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, Compliance and Legal.
• Routinely influence and present to senior executives with clear requests.
