Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Enterprise Strategy professional to partner with senior leaders across the business to identify and analyze opportunities to drive growth and differentiation. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, financial modeling, and execution across a hybrid work model located in multiple CVS Health offices.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in consulting or healthcare strategy, strong analytical and communication skills, and an MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in consulting, investment banking, healthcare strategy or operations in an analytical environment.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen with focus on payor landscape and trends.
• Experience building and evaluating financial models and developing executive presentations and support material.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Our Enterprise Strategy team is a small, high‑performing group that works closely with senior leadership to pave the way for the future of our company. In Strategy, you will work hand‑in‑hand with senior business leaders to identify and analyze exciting new opportunities to drive growth and differentiation in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Leads the development of strategies to improve and differentiate the Aetna member experience, grounded in member needs, business priorities, and market trends
• Contributes to cross‑functional strategic projects executed in partnership with senior leadership
• Leads research and analysis associated with strategic business issues, including member and market insights, competitive assessments, opportunity sizing, business cases, and feasibility analysis
• Effectively facilitates meetings and strategic workshops, including preparation and driving tangible outcomes
• Stimulates strategic thinking and helps move initiatives from strategy toward execution in partnership with business and functional owners
• Identifies opportunities to connect capabilities across the enterprise to create more integrated products and member experiences
• Develops compelling, executive‑level recommendations and materials that frame decisions, trade‑offs, and paths forward

You will be working in a hybrid role in one of the CVS Health offices in Hartford, CT; New York, NY; Wellesley, MA; or Woonsocket, RI.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably in consulting, investment banking, healthcare strategy or operations role in an analytical environment
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a focus on payor landscape and trends
• Experience building and evaluating financial models and quickly developing executive level presentations and support material to successfully implement strategy
• Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience developing analysis, presentations and support material to successfully drive decisions and strategy implementation
• This role may require travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Background with payer organizations and specifically value‑based care

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$142,140.00 - $284,280.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
