Job summary

SB Energy, a leading infrastructure company backed by SoftBank Group and Ares Infrastructure, is seeking an Owner Senior Manager to support data center programs near Austin and Lubbock. You will coordinate owner affiliates and consultants, review technical docs, and manage schedules and budgets to keep programs on track.

The role requires 6+ years in construction or engineering project support, with exposure to large MEP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction or engineering project support roles, preferably with exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of Entitlements, Due Diligence, MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple owner affiliates and consultants to pull a program together that consist of power generation, transmission, civil, DC design.
• Assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including conceptual design documents.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
• Assist with budget development, tracking, and validation.
• Prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and meetings.
• Help identify potential project risks and elevate issues to leadership as needed.

Basic Function

This Owner Senior Manager will support the successful planning and execution of data center programs near Austin and Lubbock. Experience with critical infrastructure, and large‑scale MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design and construction projects is necessary for this role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of construction project management who is eager to grow their preconstruction experience.

Base Pay - $140,000-$200K+

The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market‑leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
