Role Overview:

You will lead a team of experienced accounting professionals, overseeing processes such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and balance sheet management. You will develop and maintain accounting principles and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  2. Corporate Accounting: Manage general accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis for accuracy and integrity.
  3. Audit Coordination: Act as a liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses and proper documentation.
  4. Internal Controls: Enhance financial controls by evaluating and improving policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
  5. Compliance and Accuracy: Drive close processes at period, quarter, and year-end, ensuring compliance and accuracy within deadlines.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies and digitization initiatives.
  7. Leadership Collaboration: Provide financial insights and reporting support to executive leadership, aligning with business goals.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in large enterprise organizations
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, corporate accounting, and U.S. GAAP compliance; 7+ years in Public and Private accounting preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience managing financial reporting, technical accounting, and strategic analysis
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced Excel skills
