100% Travel Task Force. $38 per hour plus OT. 4 to 6 Week travel rotation full time then on-call.

We pay travel costs, provide free hotel room and 1 meal per day. Must have experonce.

Director Catering and Convention Services Duties

Director of Catering and Convention Services leads event planning and execution, overseeing staff, coordinating logistics with other departments, and managing client relationships for events like conferences and banquets. Key responsibilities include menu development, budget management, contract negotiation, sales and marketing, and ensuring high-quality guest service. Success in this role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage operations and drive business growth for a hotel or event venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and presenting persuasive proposals.

  • Sales & Marketing:

Solicit and book events, develop marketing plans, and negotiate contracts to drive revenue and profit for the department.

  • Event Planning & Execution:

Oversee all aspects of events, including developing menus with the chef, coordinating logistics, creating banquet event orders (BEOs), and ensuring smooth event setup.

  • Team Leadership:

Manage, train, and motivate the catering and convention services staff, assigning duties and ensuring performance standards are met.

  • Operations & Quality Control:

Inspect event spaces, ensure high service standards are met, and resolve issues that arise during events to guarantee client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
