The Shipping team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Billing & Payments, to oversee our global B&P team, supporting all billing, payment, and credit check issues for shippers.

This role involves process creation, ongoing improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with operational and technical teams to enhance billing, payments, and credit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive scalable solutions to ensure compliance with financial requirements.
• Engage with leadership across departments to design safety and compliance controls, processes, and systems, fostering continuous improvement.
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies to senior management regarding compliance issues.
• Maintain expertise on industry trends, regulations, and their impact on Amazon’s strategic roadmap.
• Build trust with business partners by understanding their plans and aligning support accordingly.

A Day in the Life

Work autonomously with your team, analyze data, collaborate with stakeholders, review and approve business expansion initiatives, and improve processes to enhance the shipper experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial product or program management experience
• 5+ years working directly with credit/finance teams
• 5+ years managing complex technology projects
• 5+ years of program management experience
• Proficiency in SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing payment and credit systems, including reliability and scaling
• Roadmap strategy and definition experience
• Managing technical programs across teams, process building, and release coordination
