Sr. Manager - Benefits Analyst- Budget and Finance

This role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 3x a week, and is open to all GEICO corporate locations.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Budget Preparation: Collaborate with Benefits team Program Managers to determine costs for plans, programs, or initiatives. Establish budgets and assist in forecasting based on utilization, renewals, and vendor changes. Lead budget training sessions.
2. Budget Process: Oversee budget submissions, identify discrepancies, and recommend revisions. Track submission statuses.
3. Monthly Variance Review: Lead analysis of actual vs. budget variances, liaise with Program Managers, and prepare reports for leadership.
4. Financial Reporting: Develop reports with Senior Director, FP&A, for leadership and CFO requests.
5. Financial Analysis & Projects: Create models and analyses for decision-making; support committee preparations and senior management requests.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years in employee benefits budgeting, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Workday
• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities

Additional Details

Salary range: $91,225 - $172,200, based on experience and other factors.
