Overview

Title: Sr. Architect,AI Strategy & Architecture

Location: Remote (EST time-zone)

Client Industry: Healthcare – Integrated Delivery Network/Health-System

Compensation: $80/hr. - $110/hr.

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Sr. Architect,AI Strategy & Architecture. In this role, you will ownthe day-to-day engine of a fast-paced assessment that must surface, size, and help realize $200M in technology cost savings. You will translate strategy into decision-ready deliverables—prioritized GenAI use-cases, future-state blueprints, landing-zone options, and build-vs-buy analyses—while coordinating closely with adjacent workstreams. This role blends hands-on architecture savvy with consulting-grade storytelling and thrives in ambiguity.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the day-to-day workplan for a 10-week enterprise assessment focused on AI-enabled cost reduction.
  • Build practical future-state technology blueprints & roadmaps (data, integration, governance, security, MLOps).
  • Lead the use-case prioritization process: define value, complexity, data-ingestion, timing, and risk criteria; maintain the scoring model.
  • Develop and compare AI Landing Zone patterns (hyperscaler and custom) and document trade-offs for scale, security, and speed.
  • Perform build-vs-buy-vs-rationalize analyses on AI point solutions; create TCO/payback summaries and option papers.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables: workshop materials, heat maps, architecture diagrams, and executive-ready decks.
  • Partner with parallel teams (Healthcare, Workforce/AI, Process Improvement) to bridge findings into a single implementation roadmap.
  • Support weekly steering updates with crisp synthesis of insights, issues, and decisions required.
Skills Required
  • Demonstrated experience building AI/GenAI blueprints & roadmaps and turning them into decision-ready artifacts.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI solution patterns (LLMs, RAG, vector databases, guardrails, prompt orchestration, MLOps).
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI Landing Zones (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP reference implementations) and their governance/compliance considerations.
  • Strong business acumen with financial modeling capability (TCO, NPV, payback) to support build-vs-buy recommendations.
  • Outstanding communication, slide-craft, and workshop facilitation; comfortable with C-suite audiences.
  • Collaborative, bias-for-action mindset; excels under ambiguity and tight timelines.
  • (Nice to have) Exposure to provider-side healthcare operations and platforms (Epic, Salesforce, Workday).
Education & Experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or related field.
  • 6+ years in technology strategy, solution architecture, or consulting with at least one delivered GenAI or advanced-analytics initiative.
