Job summary

MAC Incorporated seeks a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic in West Palm Beach, FL to install, start up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and optimizing machine performance.

The position offers 4:00 pm–2:30 am shift, Mon-Thu, with occasional daytime OT and a 10% shift differential for the 2nd shift. Compensation is $42–$45 hourly, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Associate Degree in a related field or Technical Certificate highly preferred.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CMMS systems and developing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and identify root causes.
• Experience using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Maintain bearings, belts, lubrication, inspections, adjustments, and cleaning.
• Identify critical preventive maintenance tasks and implement them into the CMMS.
• Support production employees with TPM activities.
• Install, start up, maintain, repair, and rebuild industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures using multimeters, tachometers, calipers, and other diagnostic tools.
• Dismantle machinery and replace defective or worn components.
• Optimize machine cycle times, reliability, and production output.
• Repair equipment according to OEM standards.
• Perform facility and building maintenance repairs as needed.
• Coordinate equipment downtime with Production and other departments to complete repairs.
• Enter completed maintenance activities and repairs into the CMMS.
• Complete shift reports and communicate equipment status between Maintenance and Production.
• Order replacement parts and maintain necessary repair supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Senior Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Senior Maintenance Technician provides advanced technical expertise in the installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment. This position is responsible for improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and optimizing machine performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment.
• Complete routine maintenance including bearings, belts, lubrication, inspections, adjustments, and equipment cleaning.
• Identify critical preventive maintenance tasks and implement them into the CMMS.
• Support production employees with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
