Tate & Lyle in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced E&I Maintenance Technician to inspect and calibrate process instrumentation, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and support repairs and replacement of equipment.

The role requires at least 7 years in manufacturing or engineering, hands-on PLCs and instrument knowledge, and ability to read schematics and P&ID diagrams; a high school diploma or GED and a CA driver's license are required.

Formación

• Minimum 7 years in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, field instrumentation, control loops, and transmitters.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and industry standards of electrical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematic drawings, instrument loop diagrams and P&ID’s.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• High school diploma/GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine preventative maintenance calibrations and inspections to insure minimal disruption to the production process.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the site.
• Sets up, replace, and install process instrumentation with minimal supervision.
• Provide insight and feedback from assigned work.
• Complete equipment history information files to document technical issues.
• Document mechanical or electrical problems that may disrupt the production process.
• Communicate with process operators and productions shift supervisors on equipment status.
• Utilize time to keep up routine cleaning of your work area consistent with the company’s cGMP Policy.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork behavior, promotion of process efficiency, and effectively communicate safety and procedural issues with coworkers and supervisor.

## Sr. Maintenance E&IApply: San Diego, CA: Full time: Posted Today: JREQ11123The E&I Maintenance Technician, reporting to the E&I Lead and the Maintenance Supervisor, will provide service to inspect and calibrate process instrumentation, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and support repairs and replacement of equipment. **RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Carry out routine preventative maintenance calibrations and inspections to insure minimal disruption to the production process.* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the site.* Sets up, replace, and install process instrumentation with minimal supervision.* Provide insight and feedback from assigned work.* Complete equipment history information files to document technical issues.* Document mechanical or electrical problems that may disrupt the production process.* Communicate with process operators and productions shift supervisors on equipment status.* Utilize time to keep up routine cleaning of your work area consistent with the company’s cGMP Policy.* Proper use of Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) conforming to cGMP standards.* Demonstrate effective teamwork behavior, promotion of process efficiency, and effectively communicate safety and procedural issues with coworkers and supervisor.
