Job summary

Tekshapers is seeking a Sr. Mainframe Developer with Wealth and Asset Management experience to join our Cincinnati, OH engagement on a long-term contract. Onsite from Day 1, three days a week.

The candidate should have 8+ years of experience and strong knowledge of TSO and Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, SAS and MQ, plus AmTrust accounting system familiarity, and a solid grounding in software design, development methodologies, and collaborative communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 8 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of TSO and Mainframe technology.
• Experience with COBOL, CICS, SAS and MQ.
• Experience with AmTrust accounting system.
• Background in Wealth and Asset Management .
• Knowledge of functional software design
• Knowledge of software development best practices
• Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Understanding of Software Development Methodologies
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong collaboration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
