Position Summary

Provide business coverage during the "TradeGo" migration project scheduled for implementation in Q4, 2025.

The role will provide business-as-usual Letter of Credit operational support, enabling SME bandwidth to participate in project workshops, testing, and validations.

The position will assist with all of the Global Finance business lines in the Americas (Global Energy & Commodities Project Finance, Acquisition Sponsor Finance, and Aviation), Operations Management, and other support functions to ensure optimal support, customer service, risk management, and process improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Amend existing LCs upon request.
  2. Confirm and advise export LCs.
  3. Examine and negotiate presented documents.
  4. Execute wire payments.
  5. Process fee collection and reconciliation of participation LCs and investigate discrepancies.
  6. Issue fronting LCs on behalf of a bank group in syndicated transactions.
  7. Fulfill Document Collections (URC522) as requested.
  8. Monitor all applicable Natixis bank accounts, including house accounts and individual customer DDA accounts, to ensure proper balances.
  9. Reconcile daily USD and foreign currency activity, labeling items in Corona with owner’s name, comments, date, and clearance date.
  10. Maintain strong relationships with the Collateral Team on uncommitted transactions for quick processing and unified client support.
  11. Review and respond to all Front Office and Customer email inquiries.
  12. Communicate with Front Office, Supervisors, and other teams as necessary, escalating issues when needed.
  13. Review daily outsourced work provided by Broadridge when necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Letters of Credit issuance and document examination.
  • Knowledge of UCP 600, ISP98, ICC Pub. 525, ICC Pub. 522, and related banking standards.
  • Experience with Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit transactions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for contact with beneficiaries, applicants, banks, and branches.
  • Proficiency with Loan IQ and SWIFT applications.
