Job Description & Responsibilities
- Meet and greet all visitors and employees to the firm, providing them a professional welcome.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls made to the firm, by following firm/client phone etiquette expectations and ensuring communication at a professional level.
- Scheduling meeting rooms, ensuring that each conference room has the necessary supplies prior to the client meeting times.
- Maintain proper visitor and guest security procedures as laid out by the client and the firm.
- Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of firm lobby.
- Performs light hospitality, when necessary, coffee, water, order food, drinks.
- Provides light housekeeping duties, maintaining an organized workspace.
- Performs light clerical/admin assistant duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a Law Firm environment is a plus but not needed.
- Customer service background is needed.
- Prior experience/ knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook is a requirement.
- MS Office Suite experience, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent customer service skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.
- Proactive, friendly, professional and positive attitude.
- Parking permit provided by the firm.
- Dress Code
- Business casual.
- Shirts and blouses with regular and banded collars.
- Tops cannot be T-Shirt or denim material.
- Trousers or slacks. No jeans, shorts, sweatpants, stretch pants, leggings, and any workout clothing.
- Skirts and dresses should be of reasonable length.
- Casual or dress shoes. Men must wear socks. No athletic shoes (sneakers), sandals, hiking boots, open toe or open heel shoes.
- Clothing should not be too tight or baggy, low cut or too sheer, and not have holes or rips in the fabric.
- Pants, shirts, jackets and outerwear with large graphics or large cartoon logos are not acceptable, including large lettering.
- Clothing with profanity, offensive messages or that emphasizes alcohol or illegal activity should not be worn.
- Fragrance-free environment. Only non-scented personal hygiene products are acceptable.

- The candidate will have the opportunity to become perm with Ricoh after 320 hours worked. Client is DLA Piper LLP (US) and the worksite location is 11911 Freedom Drive, Suite 300, Reston, VA 20190 United States.
- Typically Required: High school diploma; three (3) years of related business experience preferred, strong preference for Admin and switchboard experience in a law firm/legal environment; Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred; MS Office Suite experience, specifically Word and Excel; Excellent customer service skills and detail oriented; Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Demonstrated organizational and communications skills; Professional competency; Ability to work with technical equipment.
