Clarest Health seeks an experienced Senior Legal Operations Analyst. This role will be heavily focused on the company’s contracting process, including drafting, reviewing, and redlining contracts under attorney supervision and in collaboration with various business departments. The Senior Legal Operations Analyst will also be responsible for developing and optimizing contracting and other legal processes to make the Legal Department more efficient. Salary: Begins at $100K, with flexibility based on experience
Schedule: Monday thru Friday
Travel Requirement: up to 10%

Key Responsibilities
Contracting
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate contract language for a broad range of contract types, including services agreements, NDAs and BAAs, vendor agreements, software agreements, and various other types of agreements under the supervision of the Company’s Legal Department
- Collaborate and work closely with other departments, such as IT, Finance, HR, Sales/Account Management, and Procurement, throughout the contracting process
- Bridge the gap between business teams and Legal Department, translating contract needs into business terms and vice versa
- Define roles and responsibilities between the business teams and the Legal Department in the contracting process and educate business teams on their roles
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including creation, negotiation, execution, document management, retention, and tracking expirations and auto-renewals
Legal Operations
- Rethink and refine existing processes and tools for the Legal Department, including developing a defined contract intake and review process, execution protocols, standard contract terms and playbooks, and templates based on input from applicable business stakeholders and internal legal counsel
- Proactively identify bottlenecks in legal processes and propose and implement solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Legal Department to help build efficiencies in the processes and life cycle management
- Collect data, analyze, and report on key legal metrics to help the Legal department understand and evaluate various Legal functions and Company’s legal support needs
- Use data and reporting to monitor and help manage outside counsel spending
- Identify and evaluate potential legal tech solutions, such as document management systems, intake tools, and AI-powered platforms, to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, and implement any solutions selected
- The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in contract drafting, contract lifecycle management, and legal operations
Skills + Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to create applicable contract language and draft, review, and negotiate various agreements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal technology applications
- Experience with tools like Salesforce, DocuSign, and other CLM or workflow automation platforms
- Strong understanding of legal department processes and technology solutions, including contract lifecycle management (CLM) software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide range of audiences
