Expected Hourly Pay Rate: $38.49

Job Specifications
  • Minimum Required Education: BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Training, Education, Organizational Development, Communications or related field from four-year College or University or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, training coordination, or a closely related field. in a corporate administrative role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in LMS administration, including tier 1 support and troubleshooting, plus demonstrated experience creating e-learning content using authoring tools (such as Articulate, Camtasia, or equivalent).
  • Experience facilitating live or virtual training sessions required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong comfort with learning technology platforms, data reporting tools, and virtual facilitation tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and present data using Excel and other reporting tools, including chart creation and formulas.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Captivate) and multimedia production tools (e.g., SnagIt, Canva).
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging live and virtual training sessions for varied audiences.

Travel: Some travel/business related driving required; Travel may occur throughout CCRC’s service area within Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. Staff members driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or personal vehicle and must meet requirements to become and remain an approved driver, including maintaining current auto insurance, a valid California Driver’s License, and DMV clearance.

Work Schedule: This position works on a hybrid schedule. Your office will be in our Chatsworth- Headquarters’ location. Monday - Friday Preferred

All minimum requirements above met, plus:
  • Technical Requirements Workday Learning experience
  • Articulate 360 certification or demonstrated advanced proficiency preferred.
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) or a certificate in instructional design, training facilitation, or a related field is a plus.

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) assists close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County and the entirety of San Bernardino County serving a total area of 22,500 square miles. Since 1976, CCRC has been managing programs to assist with issues such as finding and selecting child care, child care financial assistance, school readiness, home visiting, and research and program evaluation. Children and families benefit from these programs, allowing parents to go to work and attend school, contribute to the economy and strengthen their families and the community. CCRC's early care & education specialists offer parents and child care professionals assistance ranging from finding child care and child development ages & stages to marketing child care businesses and CPR training and certification. CCRC operates and oversees Head Start Birth-5 programs for a total of 3,312 children. These programs promote school readiness and family engagement to ensure a healthy development of children and their families. Children benefit from a high quality preschool education as well as medical and dental exams. Through CCRC’s literacy campaign “What a Difference a Book Makes,” we have collected 800,000 age-appropriate books.
