Our Lead Service Specialists perform tasks on automation systems including service agreement maintenance, project work, and on-call services. They respond to emergency calls during and outside scheduled hours. As the face of Siemens, your expertise and customer interactions will help save energy, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.

As a Lead Service Specialist, you will:

  1. Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams such as Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and the Digital Service Center.
  3. Adhere to safety requirements outlined by Siemens and clients.
  4. Complete training as specified in your development plan.
  5. Follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
  6. Build relationships at all organizational levels and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  7. Identify customer needs and recommend service agreements, upgrades, or escalations.
  8. Coordinate with contractors and maintain tools and test equipment.
  9. Respond to service calls, perform repairs, and document services according to policy.
  10. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and generate reports.
  11. Provide system operation training to customer personnel.
  12. Identify system discrepancies, suggest upgrades, and assist in pricing repairs.
  13. Perform system checkout, startup, and participate in project final walks.
  14. Lead and mentor other technicians and identify quote deficiencies.
  15. Develop strong customer relationships, identify needs, and resolve issues using Siemens technology.
  16. Work overtime and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
  17. Manage time effectively, work remotely, and support team efforts.

You will need:

  • Electro-mechanical experience and PC/software skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience with automation systems maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Experience with protocols like BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, and networking concepts.
  • Ability to work in diverse physical conditions and use various tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work overtime and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, specialized certifications, experience with electronic control or HVAC equipment, and knowledge of building automation systems and programming.

Benefits include health and wellness programs, with a salary range of $71,330 - $122,280, depending on experience and location.
