Job summary

Klap6 is seeking a Java SDET for a 1-year contract with 100% remote work in the United States. The role focuses on building quality with strong test coverage, automation and microservices testing across platforms, including CI/CD integration.

The candidate will develop QA standards, document test strategies, and collaborate with engineers to ensure reliability and performance. Remote work is supported from the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on testing experience required.
• Experience with unit, functional and integration testing.
• Experience building automation frameworks using Java, JUnit or JBehave.
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins) and code coverage tools.
• Agile methodology experience.

Java SDET Testing

1 Year Contract

San Antonio, TX (100% Remote)

Responsibilities

Work closely with software engineers to build quality by ensuring proper test and conditional coverage, configuration quality, logging and monitoring. Develop and implement QA standards, processes, tools and methodologies; Partner with other functions to establish testing requirements for microservices with principles of 12 factor applications adherence. Document functional/integration test strategies and test plans; translate complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods. Participate in feature/story elaboration, Identify and implements complex automation efforts.

Requirements

Must have 5+ year of experience and should have hands on experience on the below listed skillset.

• Experience in Unit, Functional and Integration testing.
• Exposure in building and using automation frameworks using technologies: Java, JUnit or JBehave.
• Experience testing across a variety of platforms: Microservices, Event Driven Applications, and Databases.
• Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate with Continuous integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools to ensure higher code/conditional coverage.
• Experience in working in Agile Methodology.
• Experienced in different protocols testing (SFTP/sockets/HTTPs/RPC..etc).
• Experience of working with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance and testability.

Preferred Skills

• Application development experience Using Java.
• Security Testing experience using security test tool.
• Hands on experience in Java scripting, Groovy.
• Hands on experience in Chaos Testing.
• Exposure to Software Engineering Principles.

Technology Skills

• Selenium RS/Webdriver Load UI, Load Runner, JMeter, Karate tool etc.
• App Scan, Polaris, Twistlock Security/Integrity testing.
• Attest Jaws, Contrast Color Analyzer, Cyara, Talkback, Voiceover.
