Job summary

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in Java/J2EE programming, experience with MVC, Spring, and Hibernate, as well as strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE programming.
• Experience with MVC design pattern and application integration methods.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills, including HTML5.
• Deep understanding of best practices in building for heterogeneous environments.
• Experienced in JavaScript, including jQuery.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and code new features and enhancements to our Intranet/Extranet environment
• Design, develop and implement secure and scalable critical business solutions leveraging primarily Java/J2EE.
• Proactively analyze situations and champion innovative solutions for the selection of new or improved methodologies, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving objectives.
• Provide technical decisions to improve code quality, product security and performance.
• Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical colleagues.
• Develop and/or update program documentation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE programming experience
• Experience with MVC design pattern and application integration methods
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate is required
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 database development
• Strong HTML and CSS skills (hand coding) including HTML5
• Deep understanding of best practices in building for heterogeneous environments
• Experienced in JavaScript (including jQuery)
