Sr Java Full Stack Developer with React (Hybrid)

Cognizant is seeking a motivated and energetic Sr Full Stack Java Developer skilled in front-end technologies, proficient in Java 17, and experienced in writing REST APIs and backend logic (batch jobs / Kafka processors) using Spring Boot.

Job Location: Charlotte, NC

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Work in the client office for at least 3 days a week.
• Proficiency in Java 17, REST API development, backend logic (batch jobs / Kafka processors) using Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with React is a plus.
• Exposure to non-relational databases like MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka is mandatory.
• Proficient in using and adopting CI/CD DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy/Harness.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor.
• Exposure to microservice architecture.
• Good analytical skills, debugging abilities, and understanding of concepts.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Spring Boot, Java, React, microservices software developer.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka and MongoDB is essential.
• Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Scrum methodologies is mandatory.
• Basic experience in banking and financial domains.
• Experience in all project phases: requirement gathering, analysis, design, testing, and support.
