Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. is seeking a senior Java developer for a California-based, on-site role in Cupertino. The candidate will design, develop and integrate web services and scalable Java applications interfacing with core enterprise systems.

Required is 7+ years in distributed Java environments, strong core Java and Spring experience, and familiarity with MVC, design patterns, and REST/SOA architectures. Analytics exposure with Hadoop/Hive/Pig is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7 years of Java development experience in a large scale distributed systems environment.
• Hands-on / solid core Java skills (server-side).
• Ecommerce web application experience.
• Proficiency with Spring framework.
• Experience with MVC architectural pattern.
• Expert in design patterns and best practices.
• Web services exposure: REST or SOA architecture.
• Experience with advanced software engineering concepts including SOA, SCA, UML and performance-driven design.
• Familiarity with analytics technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig.
