Job summary

Cogent Infotech Corporation is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join a fast-paced Comcast BSD ecosystem in Philadelphia. You will own backend development using Core Java, Spring, and microservices, with CI/CD, Maven/Gradle, and cloud deployment.

You will work in an Agile team, perform unit/integration testing, and participate in code reviews while focusing on performance and scalable solutions for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in design, development and automated testing.
• Strong Core Java, J2EE, Spring and microservices expertise.
• Experience building RESTful services and cloud-enabled apps.
• Proficient with Maven/Gradle build tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Oracle RDBMS and Hibernate/Spring Data JPA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design solutions within an agile team.
• Develop, test and automated build scripts for Java-based components.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain code quality with SonarQube.
• Build and deploy microservices to cloud platforms and CI/CD environments.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Need profiles who has worked with Comcast in the past and not current.

Also need someone who has worked with Cognizant or Wipro or Infosys or HCL or any other implementation partners in the past. Do not submit profiles other than that.

Strong Core Java skills (Java 7/Java 8) Must have hands-on for last 2 years

Service Oriented Architecture development REST

Minimum Qualification: Bachelors

8+ years of hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing

Solid hands-on experience with Core Java, J2ee, Spring, Micro services

Angular 4/5 Work exprience,HTML5 and CSS.

o Jenkins build Management and web deployment process on cloud platform.

o Knowledge on any Cloud platform like Cloud Foundry.

o Exposure to Agile /Scrum based development methodologies

o Experience with documentation on Confluence.
