Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:

1. A self-starter senior developer who can transform conceptual thoughts into multiple possible approaches.
2. The person should be able to work with the Product Owner and business partners such as Accounting, Finance, Investment, Actuaries, and Operations to understand business requirements and develop Annuity products.

Should Have:

1. Over seven years of development experience in modern Java-based technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kubernetes.
2. Over seven years of design and development experience with databases such as Oracle.
3. Proficiency in Java programming.
4. Working experience in Transcend system is preferred.
5. Experience with Agile development methodology.
6. An open mindset for continuous improvement and alignment with business initiatives.

Required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 7+ years of professional software development experience.
3. Experience with technologies including Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Test Driven Development, JUnit, Mockito, OAuth 2, and OIDC.
4. Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud-native technologies, including microservice architecture and patterns.
5. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, ECS/EKS, and Observability tools.
6. Experience with source control and development workflows using Bitbucket, Git, Maven.
