Impact Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain a Java-based platform delivering real-time services for third parties, clients, and client-facing applications.

You will implement new features, write tests, and develop backend services to expose internal systems. The role requires strong Java, Spring, Vert.x expertise, RESTful service design, unit testing with JUnit, and familiarity with AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring, Vert.x.
• Proficiency in using Git for code management and collaboration.
• Strong command of RESTful web services and experience in designing and implementing them.
• Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks for unit and integration tests.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication in a Java-based environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the industry
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
• Previous experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.

Our client is a well established financial services client that has outstanding employee tenure and promotes from within. Due to growth they are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain their platform that provides third parties, clients, and client-facing applications with access to highly critical, real-time services required for day-to-day operations. The Senior Developer will design and implement new features and interfaces, write documentation units, handle regression tests and write backend services.
