Job Description

If you have expertise in design, development, and integration of strategic data applications in GCP across the entire software development (Agile), this is a role you will want to consider!

The IT Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for leading the design of technology solutions to ensure they meet resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional, and operational readiness use cases. This position owns the technology solutions within their area, including proactive monitoring, alerting, technological roadmap, and communication of overall health and future sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate data pipelines sourcing data from internal and external systems, transforming data, and creating integrated data views for various system and business needs.
• Lead ongoing development, maintenance, and support of existing systems and platforms.
• Manage work direction, lead, influence, and provide feedback to team members.
• Participate in staffing plans to identify SMEs and provide feedback for performance reviews.
• Own technology solutions, including monitoring, alerting, and communicating system health and sustainability.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience in application development or software implementation.
• Ability to manage work, lead, influence, mentor, and give feedback.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• 3 years designing/building production data pipelines in GCP with Java or Python.
• 3 years designing data solutions in GCP using Kafka, Airflow/Composer DAGs.
• 3 years optimizing data models on GCP.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI).
• Experience in Agile/Product Delivery environments.
• Healthcare or PBM industry experience.
• Understanding security implications in the domain.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.

Physical Demands

• Travel up to 5%.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/shifts outside core hours.
• Constant sitting, handling, talking, hearing.
• Frequent reaching, occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
• Lifting up to 10-25 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities required.
