- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of medium to large‑scale IT projects.
- Drive execution by coordinating multiple internal teams (IT, Finance, Business, Architecture, Security, Operations) and external partners/vendors
- Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies, governance, and compliance standards across all initiatives.
- Own project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis and working with Finance team
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, scope alignment, performance tracking, financial governance, and issue resolution.
- Ensure effective utilization of internal and external resources while maintaining financial discipline and transparency.
- Should have experience in managing the Projects in the tool like JIRA / ITPPM etc.,
- Act as a decision‑maker and delivery leader, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
- Bring the right stakeholders to the right forum to enable timely decisions, escalations, and resolution of complex issues.
- Lead governance forums, project reviews, and steering discussions with senior stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, independently analyzing complex situations, evaluating options, and driving practical, outcome‑focused solutions.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; elevate issues with clear recommendations and action plans.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned and best practices across projects and teams.
- Lead and mentor IT project managers and specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support for professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and execution‑focused culture across cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in IT project management, providing thought leadership and best practices to stakeholders.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 to 7 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or project management role.
- Proven experience managing: Project financials and budgets, external vendors and partners, multiple internal and external teams in a matrix organization.
- Demonstrated ability to make data‑ driven decisions, influence stakeholders, and resolve complex delivery challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem‑ solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar.
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives.
- Strong project portfolio management skills.
- A passion for staying current with emerging industry trends and best practices.
