Job Description:

On-Site Raleigh, North Carolina 3 days per week (2 days remote)

Role: Sr. IT Project Manager/Scrum Master

Duration: 10 months

Type: direct on W2 contract, paid for hours worked, benefit options, free training resources

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST

Pay: Up to $79/hr on W2

Purpose: Core Tech project to upgrade the base application version to latest and support ISO project changes

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of projects
  • Manage multiple, ongoing software implementations
  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables and define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables, manage risks and issues using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction to project team
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all partners
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Provide feedback to internal team and development regarding process and product improvement

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience managing multifaceted projects (project budgets, deliverables, tracking, status updates, etc.)
  • Scrum Master experience (leading Agile teams following Scrum ceremonies)
  • Experience working for a bank/financial institution
  • Experience leading implementations of .net, pega, pearl or AS400
  • Experience leading multiple projects at the same time (1 large, a few smaller)
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management
  • Superior collaboration, flexibility and responsiveness
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree
