- Deep experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), with the ability to tailor approaches for governance and control‑focused initiatives
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT), and enterprise risk management practices
- Demonstrated experience working within regulatory compliance requirements in a highly regulated financial‑services environment
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑phase projects from initiation through implementation and operational transition
- Ability to partner effectively across business, technology, data management, risk, and compliance teams to drive alignment and accountability
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess control gaps, interpret data, and recommend remediation strategies
- Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and control tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive‑level reporting, governance materials, and risk updates
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and similar PPM platforms
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira for backlog management and sprint planning
- Ability to build, interpret, and maintain dashboards and reporting that demonstrate control adherence, data‑quality metrics, and governance KPIs
