Job summary

Shermco Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sr IT Project Manager to lead delivery across applications, infrastructure, security, data and AI initiatives from Dallas/Irving.

You will drive governance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure SDLC and ADLC alignment to deliver high-value outcomes. Reporting to the CIO, you will manage multiple IT workstreams, mentor junior PMs, and maintain stakeholder communications, budgets, and risk mitigations while upholding enterprise compliance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering software projects in Salesforce or Business Central; AI/automation delivery exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of Project Management and Agile methodologies across SDLC/ADLC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO or similar are preferred.

Overview

Job Title: Sr IT Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr IT Project Manager to lead delivery of Shermco’s application, infrastructure, security, data, and AI initiatives. This role will get deep in the weeds of operational processes and drive alignment across development teams, platform administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-value initiatives. The Sr IT Project Manager will be responsible for project governance, managing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring execution excellence across multiple IT workstreams. The role requires a strong working understanding of both the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC) for AI agents and automations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects across applications (Business Central, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.), infrastructure, security, and AI initiatives.
• Manage project delivery across the full SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, release, and support) and ensure the right quality gates and approvals are in place.
• Manage project delivery across the ADLC for AI agents and automations (use case definition, build, evaluation and testing, security and governance review, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support).
• Establish project governance, tracking, and reporting processes to measure progress, risks, and value delivery.
• Ensure projects are prioritized and aligned with enterprise priorities, and elevate trade-offs on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate dependencies across Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Development pillars.
• Work closely with development teams and platform administrators, ensuring alignment with architecture and operational standards.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to project coordinators, analysts, and junior project managers.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and business outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.
• Act as escalation point for project issues, proactively resolving blockers.
• Serve as the central liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Drive effective communication of system updates, project progress, and business impacts.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed through transparent reporting and prioritization.
• Ensure all IT projects adhere to compliance standards, quality benchmarks, and documentation requirements, including IT policies for AI agents, connectors, and automations.
• Support enterprise change management and transformation efforts including training, communications, and adoption.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field is a plus. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or Agile methodologies are a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Product Owner, or Sr Business Systems Analyst with direct accountability for delivering software development projects in Salesforce or Business Central. Hands-on exposure to AI agent or automation delivery (Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Claude, or similar) is strongly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of Project Management and Agile methodologies, and of how they apply across the SDLC and ADLC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Technical acumen to understand software development processes, AI agent development (prompting, grounding, evaluation, and monitoring), and IT systems.
• Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Certifications: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar project management or Agile certification is preferred.
