Job summary

Clearwater Analytics is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead IT and facility initiatives in Boise. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver complex projects, balancing scope, timelines, and budgets while engaging multiple stakeholders across departments and with external vendors.

Candidates should bring 6+ years of PM experience, IT/facilities know‑how, and strong communication. Proficiency with Jira, SharePoint, and MS Project is preferred; a PMP/Agile/Scrum cert is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, CS, or facilities/related field.
  • 6+ years of project/program management experience, IT and/or facilities focus.
  • Strong IT systems and facilities operations knowledge.
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, MS Project; Agile/ Scrum/ Waterfall methods.

  • Ensure health, safety, building code compliance and quality standards.
  • Apply change management processes for production promotions and facility changes.
  • Document and train users on system and facilities changes.

Job description

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Facilities Project Management
  • Plan and manage facilities projects such as office buildouts, renovations, relocations, space planning, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Manage facilities vendors and service contracts and ensure minimal disruption to business operations during project work.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, facilities staff, and end-users, to gather requirements and align project objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing updates on project status and changes.
  • Technical Oversight
  • Work closely with developers, engineers, system administrators, and facilities technicians to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in the identification and evaluation of new technologies, equipment, and functionalities that can enhance business processes and the work environment.
  • Change Management
  • Apply change management processes to support the promotion of changes into production and the implementation of facilities changes, ensuring future readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate training sessions and create the necessary documentation to guide users through system and facilities changes.
  • Risk, Issue, and Safety Management
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure facilities projects meet health, safety, and building code requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and address challenges proactively to keep the project on track.

  • Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage project budgets across IT and facilities initiatives and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.

  • 6+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 4 years managing IT and/or facilities implementations.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems (SDLC, infrastructure) and facilities operations (buildouts, space planning, physical infrastructure, and vendor management).
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, etc.) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Working knowledge of facilities, building codes, safety standards, and contractor/vendor management is preferred.
