Job summary

SHI International Corp. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sr. IT Operations Specialist to develop departmental communication strategies for IT initiatives, draft content for updates, and manage release schedules. The role coordinates strategic IT priorities and supports presentations, ensuring alignment between IT and the business.

The candidate will drive continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and collaborating with multiple teams, reporting to the Charlotte office location.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing communication programs/projects.
  • 2-4 years of experience working cross-functionally across teams and internal stakeholders.
  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications preferred.
  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective departmental communication strategies for updates, priority programs, employee recognition, and IT incidents.
  • Draft content, organise release schedules, and manage content for newsletters and quarterly updates.
  • Provide project coordination for multiple strategic initiatives, including team enablement and training, event coordination and logistics, and business operations initiatives.
  • Drive communication practices for monthly updates, presentation preparation, employee recognition, etc.
  • Provide ongoing operational support for IT priorities and initiatives.
  • Assist with project management and coordination of IT setup/AV needs for onsite presentations and meetings.
  • Effectively communicate program updates from the IT Department to the business and internal communications to ensure alignment.
  • Solicit input and leverage feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Job Summary

The Sr. IT Operations Specialist will develop departmental communication strategies for business updates, program initiatives, employee recognition, and IT incidents, while drafting content and managing release schedules. This role involves coordinating strategic initiatives, supporting IT priorities, assisting with IT setup for presentations, and ensuring effective communication of program updates. The coordinator will drive continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and maintaining alignment between the IT department and the business. This position is required to report to the Charlotte, NC office location.

Role Description
  • Develop effective departmental communication strategies for business updates, priority program initiatives, employee recognition, and IT Incidents/ Responses.
  • Draft content, organize release schedules, and manage content for all communication initiatives (newsletters, quarterly updates, AHODs, etc.)
  • Provide project coordination for multiple strategic initiatives, including team enablement and training, event coordination and logistical planning, and business operations initiatives.
  • Drive communication practices for monthly comms updates, presentation preparation, employee recognition, etc.
  • Provide ongoing operational support for IT priorities and initiatives.
  • Assist with project management and coordination of IT setup/ AV needs for onsite presentations and meetings.
  • Effectively communicate program updates from the IT Department to the business and internal communications to ensure effective and consistent alignments and updates from the IT Department.

Other Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
