Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining medical imaging and clinical applications within the Virtua Health System. Demonstrates subject matter expertise in solutions development and implementation of software and workflow design in service lines such as Cardiology, Dental, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Neurology, Perinatal, and Radiology. Responsible for understanding and documenting complex business needs, recommending IS solutions, and possessing extensive knowledge of customer workflows, application software, system integrations, modality configurations, and building tools. Provides instruction on technical topics, oversees at least 5 IT applications, and leads or contributes to at least 5 projects annually. Supports application optimization, vendor releases, system upgrades, and defect fixes. Performs technical and functional analysis, develops system requirements, and collaborates with Informatics to develop Visio models, ensuring best practices for build, configuration, workflow analysis, data integrity, and auditing. Adheres to cybersecurity and HIPAA policies. Manages external IS vendor relations for medical imaging and clinical applications and facilitates IT questionnaires.
Experience: 5+ years in healthcare IT, preferably in medical imaging. Expertise in multiple applications, excellent communication skills, and healthcare domain knowledge. Epic Cupid experience preferred.
Education: B.A./B.S. in Information Systems or related field, or relevant experience.
Certifications: Required in multiple IT applications; proficiency in MS Office and ServiceNow.
