The Role:

The Sr. IT Business Analyst, Salesforce CPQ, will work as part of the IT Business Engagement team to implement and support Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) for the B2B Sales organization. This will be a remote work-from-home position located in the United States.

  1. Help drive Sales digital transformation in the Quote to Cash (Salesforce Revenue Cloud) space for hardware sales and Services subscription/ renewals.
  2. Act as a dedicated business/solution architect to conduct complex analysis and requirements definition for applications that automate configure-price-quote (CPQ) business processes for our B2B business.
  3. Interface with Business and IT cross-functional teams to identify and resolve business systems problems, and consult with various users to identify potential improvements.
  4. Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects in CPQ domain.
  5. Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
  6. Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases.
  7. Be a key contributor/facilitator in cross-functional teams, working to create user stories, BRDs, and developing a solution roadmap.
  8. Conduct solution reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solutions are aligned with business requirements.
  9. Create and deliver high-quality presentations.
  10. Assist in planning projects/programs, and support business process redesign.
  11. Understand the other IT verticals within the wider IT Organization, their core competencies and how they can be brought into discussions to drive and enable business opportunities.
  12. Participate in documentation, training, testing and delivery efforts in concert with other team members.
  13. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective.
  14. Be one of the first points of contact for user support and problem-solving.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  1. 8+ years of relevant experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud with at least 3 years working with Salesforce CPQ.
  2. Must have worked on multiple full lifecycle Salesforce CPQ implementations with strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ.
  3. Must have experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with other key systems such as a Partner Portal, ERP, etc.
  4. Must have Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
  5. Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud: This includes knowledge of core functionalities like product configuration, pricing rules, quoting workflows, and approvals.
  6. Expertise in the Quote to Cash lifecycle for a B2B business, preferably one that sells via a multi-tier channel model.
  7. Experience with selling Services subscriptions - services auto attach, renewals, co-terming, etc.
  8. Experience working in a global, multi-currency, multi-country environment.
  9. Experience integrating with Oracle Channel Revenue Management module is a plus.
  10. Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
  11. Ability to bring a consulting approach to help business solve issues and challenges.
  12. Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  13. Excellent verbal, active listening, and written communication skills that should be equally effective with IT, marketing, and sales.
  14. Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments.
  15. Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  1. Salesforce Sales Cloud Analyst/Administrator certification.
  2. Salesforce Reporting or CRM Analytics Reporting expertise is a plus.
