Job summary

Job description

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for our client partner. The Senior Software Engineer specializes in design & development of iOS apps using Swift, Cocoa Touch and UI Kit. Familiar with using Swift UI and Combine pattern for developing iOS mobile applications. Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as Requirements Gathering, Project Design, Development, Support and maintenance phases to meet requirement of project and familiar with agile software development methodologies as well.

• Good experience in Swift, Cocoa Touch, Xcode, XCTest, UI Kit, JSON. Worked extensively on Xcode, Interface Builder and Instrument.
• Thorough understanding of COCOA design patterns, MVC, MVVM architecture and other concepts like Delegate and Protocols.
• Well versed with frameworks like UI Kit, MapKit, Social, Event Kit UI framework, Push Notifications, Core Data, Core Bluetooth, AV Foundation, Address Book, and Core Location.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts and good development experience in using those concepts to build re-usable code.
• Familiar with UI design implementation using both Storyboards and Xib files for IOS.
• Experienced in JSON Parsing, using JSON Serialization and JSON Decoder Experienced in handling memory management – Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) Optimize application performance, reliability, observability, and long-term maintainability.
  Leverage modern AI development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate engineering while maintaining a high-quality standard.
• Self-motivated and excellent abilities to learn new languages and other concepts quickly, excellent interpersonal skills and abilities to communicate with team players.
