Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

• 3 years experienced with Neuro and Body IR
• Previous experience in similar acute care setting
• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Work Schedule

• Can work 8-hour shifts M-F, variable shift including weekends, and taking call.
• Parking is available to hospital when taking call.
• This position will be supporting both Body and Neuro IR and must be available to work Monday to Friday with call duties (+50% pay) on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Job Details

The Senior IR Technologist must demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role. Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IR Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings. Demonstrate competency and to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of IR experience.
• Previous experience in healthcare environment required (minimum 3 years).
• Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• ARRT & CRT Licensure.
• BLS (CPR) Certification.
• VIR Certification within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred - recent work experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred - VIR Certification obtained within 1 year of hire.
