Actalent in Wayzata, MN seeks a Healthcare Interior Designer (Level III) to design patient-centered interiors for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This role focuses on designing functional, safe, calming, and aesthetically pleasing interior environments for healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, assisted living residences, ambulatory surgery centers, and medical offices. The Healthcare Interior Designer prioritizes patient-centered design, ensuring that all spaces support healing, promote staff efficiency, and comply with stringent regulations related to hygiene, infection control, and accessibility. You will manage projects from concept through completion, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and make strategic design and budget decisions that align with client goals and industry best practices.
The role operates in a hybrid work environment, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule. You will typically work from home on certain days and be in the office from Tuesday through Thursday, collaborating in person with colleagues and project teams. The organization functions as a growing healthcare design consultancy with a strong cross-functional culture that emphasizes collaboration, teaching, mentoring, and teamwork across all phases of a project. Employees are encouraged to contribute to business development by helping to bring new work into the office and supporting the growth of client relationships and project opportunities. The work involves regular use of design and documentation technologies such as Revit, along with typical office and studio tools used in architectural and interior design practice.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayzata, MN.
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
