Responsibilities
- Lead complex analyses to develop actionable recommendations for growth and profitability targets
- Assess market risks and opportunities, and provide data-driven insights to influence executive decisions
- Utilize tools such as Snowflake, SQL, and Microsoft Excel to analyze large datasets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to support product and process development
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts in the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field
- 10+ years of analytical experience in the insurance industry; experience across multiple functions preferred
- Superior research, statistical, and analytical skills with a strong ability to conduct analyses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and various structured analysis and design techniques
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuit or completion of industry-relevant continuing education, such as an MBA or insurance designations (AINS, AIC, CPCU, etc.)
- 0-2 years of leadership and mentoring experience
- Advanced degree in a related field
