Job Description
Job Summary
Analyzes and determines training needs and problems. Develops, administers, and implements all training programs per the Business’ initiatives and strategies. Conducts special courses designed for training selected groups of employees.
Job Duties
- Conducts job-task analysis and/or needs assessment to identify learning objectives and to determine training solutions and other performance enhancement solutions (e.g., management reinforcement, rewards, role clarity, job aids, etc.)
- Consults with managers and team members to develop training program goals, overall objectives, and module-specific goals. Ensures focused training to enhance employees' job performance.
- Designs course content using instructional design principles, collaborating with subject matter experts, management, trainers, and technical writers. Creates new training programs from scratch based on formal training needs analysis.
- Applies adult learning principles to select appropriate training media and methodologies tailored to audience learning styles, content complexity, and business goals. Designs training for various formats: classroom, online, self-paced, or blended approaches, utilizing methods like lectures, role plays, simulations, self-study, on-the-job training, and e-learning.
- Researches, adapts, and updates existing curriculum and materials to meet learning needs.
- Evaluates training effectiveness through program assessments, test results, operational metrics, and feedback, making improvements as needed.
- Develops evaluation tools to measure achievement of learning and performance outcomes.
- Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to ensure content quality, relevance, and timely delivery.
Job Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree, relevant certification, or equivalent experience.
Required Experience, Skills & Abilities
- At least 5 years in training, education, development, or related fields.
- Proficiency with course development software and authoring tools for multimedia and interactive learning.
- Experience with e-learning course creation in a Learning Management System, including writing instructional content and scripts.
Preferred Education
Master’s Degree.
Preferred Experience
- Over 5 years experience with course development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, DominKnow, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management System software.

Pay Range: $77,969 - $128,519 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
