Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Sr. Institutional Engagement Program Coordinator to partner with leadership to plan and implement engagement programs that advance equity and research integration.

You will coordinate activities, support cancer disparities research initiatives, manage communications with the Engagement Council, and help develop metrics and processes for engagement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

SR Institutional Engagement Program Coordinator, Fox Chase Cancer Center – (263981)

Description

The Sr. Institutional Engagement Program Coordinator will partner with the Associate Director for Cancer Disparities Research and Research Integration to plan, develop, and implement institutional engagement programs and initiatives that advance the organization’s mission in an inclusive and intersectional manner. The Sr. Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and oversight of programmatic activities related to institutional engagement at FCCC, including supporting research initiatives, coordinating communications and outreach with the Engagement Council and its subcommittees, and assisting with internal and external engagement efforts. This role provides advanced programmatic and operational support, contributes to the development of engagement processes and metrics, and serves as a central point of communication among engagement leadership and institutional stakeholders. The Sr. Institutional Engagement Program Coordinator works under the direction of the Associate Director for Cancer Disparities Research and Research Integration, with day-to-day guidance from the Director of Institutional Engagement.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree related field Required or
• Master’s Degree Preferred
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 2 years in engagement program coordination, communications, or research administration Required
• Demonstrated success supporting or managing institutional initiatives Required
• General Experience with health engagement research Required
• General Experience in program coordination and administration Required
• Demonstrated commitment to valuing engagement and contributing to fostering a working environment Required
• General Experience in a healthcare setting Preferred
