KI people in San Francisco is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to own uptime, scalability, and on-call operations for a platform with hundreds of thousands of users.

You will operate Temporal workflows for long-running AI agents, manage AWS infrastructure and container fleets, and scale production databases, taking over infrastructure ownership from the co-founder.

Own uptime, scalability, and on‑call operations for a platform serving hundreds of thousands of active users, and re‑architect its multi‑tenant hosting as usage grows. Operate Temporal workflows for long‑running AI agents, manage AWS infrastructure and container fleets, scale production databases, and take over infrastructure ownership from the co‑founder.

Requirements: Requires 2–10 years of infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering experience, including production experience with Temporal or a comparable workflow orchestrator, infrastructure as code, AWS container or server orchestration, and production database scaling and tuning. Candidates should have owned a system end to end, spent at least a year at a fast‑growing startup or high‑bar product or developer‑tools company, and use AI coding tools daily.
