Essential Responsibilities
  • In this role, you will be responsible for planning and conducting IT audits in areas such as NERC compliance, cloud security, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. You will provide guidance to management and IT leadership on control improvements, risk mitigation, system implementations, and process optimization. The position involves utilizing data analytics tools to enhance audit insights. Responsibilities also include evaluating risks related to new digital initiatives, third-party vendors, and changes in the threat landscape. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and support the ongoing development of the IT Audit function.

ATC embraces flexibility in our work and our workplace. We trust our employees to get work done where and when it makes sense, depending on the schedule for the day and the needs of the business. We are a regional utility and this role would require relocation to Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

ATC invites you to advance your career with us if you possess strong communication skills and can facilitate risk and control workshops, translate complex technical concepts for business audiences, and have hands-on experience with IT General Controls (ITGCs), application controls, system implementation reviews, and major frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001. We seek candidates with robust technical knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, and cloud platforms, as well as a bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, or related discipline. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in IT Audit, IT Risk, GRC, or Cybersecurity, along with a relevant certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA, are required.
