Job summary

ProSync Technology Group is hiring a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support information assurance across programs and classifications. The role enforces security policies, performs risk analysis, and maintains System Security Plans.

Requires TS/SCI with Full-scope Polygraph and 12+ years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates have DoD/IC program experience, a Bachelor’s in CS/Info Assurance, and IAM II or higher certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/Info Assurance or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience; alternative 16+ years considered.
• 10+ years of ISSO or related DoD/IC security experience.
• Proficiency with customer security tools, repositories, playbooks and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Enhance system security posture by enforcing policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Oversee security operations and risk assessments for classified processing.
• Manage configuration and integrity, ensuring compliance with security controls.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and related documentation.
• Provide technical expertise in security measures and stakeholder collaboration.
• Drive continuous security improvements by identifying vulnerabilities and proactive countermeasures.

ProSync is looking for a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) who will provide aid to the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program and will also lend assistance for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies in addition to the below.

• Enhancing the system security posture by supporting the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance initiatives and enforcing security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Overseeing security operations for information systems, managing daily security aspects, evaluating security solutions for classified processing, and conducting vulnerability and risk analysis/assessments for system authorization.
• Managing configuration and system integrity by administering configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware, ensuring compliance with security controls, and assessing the impact of system changes.
• Developing and maintaining security documentation and System Security Plans lifecycle management activities to ensure compliance with system security requirements.
• Providing technical expertise in security policies and operations, supporting the implementation and maintenance of security measures and countermeasures, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain compliance and strengthen the system security posture.
• Driving continuous improvement by assessing existing security processes, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing proactive solutions to enhance system resilience.

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related discipline, as well as twelve (12) or more years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of sixteen (16) years of experience or more may be considered on a case by case basis.
• Must have ten (10) or more years of in-depth experience as ISSO or combination of ISSO and other security related role supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Proficient with customer security tools, corporate repositories, playbooks and guidelines
• Knowledgeable with applicable frameworks, regulations, standards, policies and procedures
• Operational understanding of server and IA technologies, internetworking protocols and services
• Experience supporting over 30 SSP's.
• Must have certifications & compliance with DoD 8140.03 with IAM Level II or higher (i.e., CASP+, CISSP, etc.).
• A Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph is required. (We are unable to sponsor clearances at this time.)
