Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a Senior RC Informatics Specialist to optimize Revenue Cycle efficiency and automation. The role emphasizes Epic capabilities and supporting bolt-on applications to improve data flow across the organization.

You will collaborate with IT to implement internal controls, evaluate client needs, and develop configurations that support business processes within the Revenue Cycle. Training and end-user support are also part of the role.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Health Information Systems, Informatics, Healthcare Management, or closely related field required.
• In lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
• 3 years of work experience in revenue cycle, informatics, healthcare technology, or a closely related field required.
• In lieu of nine (9) years of experience in revenue cycle, informatics, healthcare technology, or a closely related field required.
• Epic certification in Clinical or Rev Cycle application preferred.

This position works to improve Revenue Cycle efficiency, automation and maximize the current revenue cycletechnology toolkit. This role understands the capabilities and general application of Epic functionality, includingrevenue cycle, supporting clinical functions, and supporting bolt-on applications. Keeping current on Epiccapabilities within the revenue cycle, as well as, supporting acquisition and integration activities are functions ofthis role. This person recommends technology enhancements & optimizations that will positively impact theRevenue Cycle and help Piedmont Healthcare (PHC) operate according to best practice, industry benchmarks andmeet A/r performance goals and productivity. The Senior RC Informatics Specialist will work to improve andimplement internal controls across the revenue cycle technology footprint and will work closely with IT oninterface and system issues as required to improve the flow of data. The Senior RC Informatics Specialist plans,executes and monitors the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware or solutions specific toRevenue Cycle. Evaluates client needs, develops configurations that support business processes. Providestraining and end-user support during and after the implementation process. Completes the scoping of projects ordeveloping requirements documentation.
