Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Four to six years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, assess, and implement techniques and equipment of simple to moderate complexity used in the production process to maximize operational efficiency.
• Plan and design assigned systems that increase productivity by improving the integration of people, materials, systems, equipment, and finance.
• Recommend more efficient and safer manufacturing processes using new, existing, or modified machinery, equipment, or systems under the guidance of a more senior engineering staff member.
• Implement changes to work methods, materials, machinery, manpower allocation, and safety measures for projects of simple to moderate complexity.
• Oversee work standards, schedules, procedures, and performance standards for work applications to improve efficiency and reduce costs using approved company standards. Review standards with a more senior engineering staff member before implementation.
• Analyze and recommend changes to work operations to reduce noise, pollution, toxic chemicals, and similar hazards under the direction of a more senior engineering staff member.
• Oversee assigned daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and other reporting system outputs.
• Participate in cross-functional projects or meetings as required under the direction of a more senior engineering staff member.
• Consistently perform high-quality analysis.
• Identify ways to assess and apply innovative ideas that enhance business results.
• Lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as needed.

The Sr Industrial Engineer is a high-performing contributor that serves as a subject matter expert to facilitate and support capital improvement and maintenance projects within the Engineering function by utilizing strong knowledge of industry practices and standards. What You Have

• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.
• The work environment may include a noisy, high-traffic manufacturing production floor.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule, including evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment correctly for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
