About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Sr. IAM Engineer – SailPoint to maintain and optimize our IAM/IGA platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operational support, including monitoring system health, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing incident response. This Sr. IAM Engineer - SailPoint will also ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and operational needs, and optimize access management processes across the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor platform performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems through systematic troubleshooting.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets according to severity and business impact.
  • Provide clear documentation and status updates on resolved issues.
  • Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams while maintaining accountability.
  • Generate and analyze performance reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability and reliability.
  • Streamline IAM processes through automation and advanced technologies.
  • Enforce IAM policies, standards, and controls to address related threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and recommend IAM best practices for enterprise security strategies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess and optimize IAM-related workflows and processes.
  • Drive initiatives to increase the reliability and efficiency of IAM operations.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions on IAM utilization.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify architecture and workflows to enhance user experience and enable rapid innovation in workforce IAM.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IAM or related IT security roles.
  • In-depth experience with SailPoint, connectors (JDBC, LDAP, REST APIs-Web Connectors, Custom Connectors, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in IAM concepts, RBAC, and protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
  • Experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, and IT controls.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks.
  • Experience with access certification, role management, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments with a collaborative mindset.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with identity solutions such as SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), Saviynt, Okta OIG, and Okta Workflows.
  • Proficiency in development tools and scripting languages (Java, Python, GoLang, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with SIEM/observability tools (Splunk, Logscale, LogRhythm, DataDog, Kibana).

The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $125,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package.
