Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to serve as a trusted consultant to business partners on HR practices and policies.

This role provides guidance in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices. You will support departments with HR solutions, monitor employment laws, and help lead HR projects while presenting management with trend reports and ensuring policy interpretation is accurate.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of job-specific HR experience or equivalent education/experience.
• HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of human resources solutions to help departments meet business initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring, communicating, and interpreting applicable HR federal, state, and company requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Monitor the administration of the companys diverse compensation programs that includes both exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Give direction and advice on complex and controversial issues.
• Analyze data from exit interviews.
• Help with the implementation of larger-scale HR projects, events, and programs.
• Present summary reports to management on current trends.
• Provide direction to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, career development, and workplace issues.
• Advises managers on the interpretation of employment law.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Job Objective:

The Sr Human Resources Generalist is a high performing contributor that uses their in-depth knowledge to serve as a consultant to business partners on human resource practices and policies. This role offers guidance and support in functional areas including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

Required Experience and Education:

• 4-6 years of job specific experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• HR certification preferred.
