Job description

Overview

Partners with business/functional leaders at mid to senior levels to influence the design and execution of business strategy by providing consultative support and leadership. Translates business plans into talent and organizational strategies, focusing on building organizational capability and performance. Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence and Service Center to ensure optimal HR services. This role supports a Commercial Sales client group across 26 states in the Midwest and Southwest US, with hub locations in Dallas, Wood Dale (IL), and Lenexa (KS).

Responsibilities
  1. Business Relationships
  • Builds trusted relationships with mid to senior-level clients, proactively recommending solutions
  • Participates actively in leadership teams, influencing and challenging others
  • Maintains understanding of current and future business trends, internal and external
  • Provides coaching and guidance to leadership
  • Strategy & Planning
    • Advises leaders on developing and executing strategies to enhance organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
    • Translates business plans into talent and organizational plans, contributing to People Strategy including organizational redesign, workforce planning, total rewards, succession planning, and employee engagement
    • Supports transformational change initiatives with consulting, guidance, and frameworks for change management
    • Ensures leadership pipeline and succession plans are in place
    • Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence and Service Center to align services with business needs
    • Uses outcome-based metrics to identify trends and influence business decisions

    • Ensures strong leadership teams and participates in senior talent recruitment
    • Drives organizational performance through productivity, quality, and service metrics

    Qualifications

    2. Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
