Blue Origin LLC seeks a Sr. Human Factors Engineer to lead enterprise-level human factors standards within the Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE) group. You will develop frameworks, support program-embedded teams, and help implement human-centered design across spaceflight projects.

You will apply HF principles to requirements reviews, design evaluations, and HITL test campaigns, collaborating with systems engineering and operations to drive safety, usability, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in Human Factors Engineering, Aerospace, Cognitive Systems Engineering, Psychology, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of industry experience in human factors engineering or human-centered system design (preferably in aerospace).
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear written technical documents, guidelines, or reference materials.
• Experience conducting task analyses and/or human error analyses and human-in-the-loop testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-level human factors standards, methodologies, and best practices for cross-program use.
• Provide guidance on ergonomics, usability, workload, and human error to program-embedded engineers.

Working closely with a Principal Human Factors Engineer, you will develop the HF frameworks, standards, and best practices that program-embedded HFEs and systems engineers across Blue Origin rely on to make human-centric design decisions. You will also provide direct HF support to ACE programs, grounding your enterprise work in real engineering challenges.
